TAIC is a light yellow liquid or crystal at room temperature with a melting point of 17-27℃ and a specific gravity of 1.155. TAIC is insoluble in water and soluble in aromatics, ethanol, acetone and halogenated hydrocarbons. TAIC is a triazine ring multifunctional olefin monomer, which can be self-polymerized or homopolymerized and cross-linked with various olefins, and can undergo various characteristic reactions of aliphatic olefins. TAIC is stable at room temperature and can be stored stably for a long time.
Used as a co-crosslinking agent for thermoplastics (e.g. PE, EVA, etc.) and acrylic and styrene ionic exchange resins.
Used as a co-curing agent for special rubber such as Chlorinated Polyethylene Rubber (CM), Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer Rubber (EPDM), Fluorine Rubber (FKM), Silicone Rubber (Q), etc.
Used as a modifier for resins such as polyacrylates, unsaturated polyesters, epoxy resins, DAP, etc. to improve the physical and chemical properties of these resins, such as heat resistance, weather resistance, mechanical strength, processability and resistance to chemical corrosion.
Used as an adhesive for polyester fibers and rubber and as an intermediate for photocurable coatings, photoresists, flame retardants, etc.
The high-end product of TAIC is used as a special crosslinking agent for EVA encapsulating film for solar cells.
